Lovely, warm and cosy pub! Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the burger and Cumberland sausage with a great selection of drinks and snacks and good view of the football! Definitely a great place to settle in front of the log burner after a long wintry walk!

Food was amazing, fresh and served piping hot. Staff were very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. We arrived on Saturday dinnertime, and there were plenty of seating options inside and outside. Dog friendly, and was the perfect place to stop and have food after a walk. Only reason for 4/5 for atmosphere is due to it being very quiet at this time. Would recommend.

The best pub meal I have had in ages, all thanks to the lovely chef Jim! Laura the lady behind the bar was also so welcoming & friendly. The fire was lit & the pub was so cosy. We will definitely be heading there again for food & drinks. Thank you!

Great meal out with friends. All beautiful cooked and fresh. Fish and chips was fantastic with a big portion of fresh battered fish served with home made chunky chips, mush peas and tartare sauce. Home made Chicken Pot Pie was delicious as with the Hunters Chicken, again all home made. A good menu with all the usual pub classics and a specials board for something different.
