The room was lovely. Shower a bit small in the en suite but otherwise tip top. I was worried about being over a pub but needn’t have been. Good night’s sleep and no trouble at all. Hospitality ok. A bit stilted and not overly welcoming on arrival and service at breakfast was a bit high and mighty but still decent enough. Note the door into the bar for breakfast isn’t locked, despite looking like it is. Why they don’t just open it I don’t know but I could tell I was considered thick for not knowing this. Breakfast itself was excellent. However note you only have a 30 minute window (8.30-9.00) to take it and it’s the full English or nothing (apart from cereals). Not even a choice of eggs. Not a problem for us but best be aware of this. Quality of ingredients was excellent as was the cooking. Price was decent too. Overall very good.

Truck Haven

Just stopped for food on way passed one night. We were very happy with the first visit, we stopped the next two times we went past also. Friendly staff, clean facilities as far as I saw, and great food. I had steak pie first visit, 5 piece breakfast second time and beef curry next time. All cooked great and a decent cuppa tea to boot. Recommended if you're passing, trucker or not.

Brilliant as a whole.Vegetarian options: On some meals have vegen options.Dietary restrictions: There's salads and small foods.Parking: Right outside is loads of parking spaces for about 500 cars.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps on either entrance.

Been here a few times and foods always good. Staff could do with a little training on meal deals etc as don't seem as helpful as other subways. That said the staff are very friendly ðŸ‘

Booked well in advance as we won't entirely sure of numbers, I explained it could be between 15-25 people, they were very helpful and flexible, we ended up being 23 people, we ordered a few days in advance.The staff were very attentive and all the food came out in good time without any hiccups. Food was of a good standard and no complaints from any of us.Would definitely use again, thank you.

Tasty Spot Freckleton

We've been eating from this place for over 4 years. Never a bad meal and always great quality.Tonight I had the large House Special kebab. Absolutely stuffed to the brim with meat. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Brilliant Mother’s Day weekend.Great hotel, decent rooms, clean and well attentive staff throughout the whole establishment.Food was delicious and chef Adam came out so we could have a little chat which was great and personal touch to the whole experience.Staff very efficient and professional.Great location as well, pictures villages around and close to motorway.Will be returning soon.Rooms: Clean and comfy, well attended.Food & drinks: Great food and great selection of drinks.Really nice.
