Here the students of Worsley college refine their culinary skills and front of house service throughout their academic year.
The 7 course gourmet dinner was an absolute taste sensation! First class food and service from the students who are ready to graduate and face the world of working.
The service is wonderful and the enthusiastic students give such a cute service.
There is a bar to get alcoholic drinks and soft drinks but water is served at the table free of charge.
The food is an absolute taste sensation and presented as good as any fine dining experience I’ve been to.
Their tutors and mentors glow with pride as they supervise the night.
Honestly is a wonderful experience.
It’s not easy to book a table at these events as they are so popular so booking early is recommended.

Tony's Italian Take Away
5 Memorial Rd, Walkden, Worsley, ManchesterSo the quality of the food is pretty good, never had a bad meal yet.
The mother and daughter (assumption as they are the spitting image of each other) front of house duo are the most fantastic people to be served by
And the wait times are miniscule.
One criticism though it just needs to be more affordable. The options are quite pricey. Corn on the cob being over £4 each is unheard of for example.
Good takeaway overall tho!

The Bull's Head Hotel
The Bulls Head, 12 High St, Walkden, Worsley, Manchester16 family members went in for lunch on a Sunday .didn't wait long before we found some tables together as you can't book ahead . There was a very loud group of men in the corner. Can't stop people having fun .and they left before our food arrived so thankfully after that we had a peaceful meal .
Parking: If you can't park directly outside. There's a shopping centre car park 2min walk away..

148-154 Manchester Rd, Walkden, Worsley, ManchesterThe shop itself is fairly good. Always stocked up well and I've always been able to get what I need. Most of the staff are friendly apart from one or two but went to the deli counter today and wanted a baguette the woman insisted she had put them out , I said none there , she kept saying they were , looked again and again none there ,I said not to worry I will just have a sausage and egg bam please, she pointed to the tiniest of eggs that was shriveled up and looked disgusting ,she said that's the last egg, I said I will just have a sausage bam then please , got home took one bite and spat it out , big hair in it . Plus was cold anyway . Threw the whole thing straight in the bin.

Purple Kitchen

Recommend the beef in black bean,the meat is so tender it melts in your mouth, best egg fried rice I have ever tasted.
Salt and pepper chips are v good
Portions plentiful and price reasonable.
The shop itself is spotless inviting and staff always smiling.
Highly recommend.

Mario's pizza walkden
4 Bridgewater Rd, Walkden, Worsley, ManchesterWe've just had our 3rd takeaway from here and it was fantastic again. To date we've had the farm house pizza, peri burger meal, supreme chicken burger meal, Donner meat and chicken kebab. All superb. If you're thinking of getting a pizza, get it with garlic butter as an extra.

10 Morston Cl, Ellenbrook, Worsley, ManchesterPizza was pretty good and fries were good in proportion, had to leave some out because 2 people were full, me and my friend. And they (Jay or Jayne, forget her name) gave us 2 sauces with it for free. Overall pretty nice.
