Malt Mill Bank, Barwell, LeicesterExcellent cafe and well worth a stop off if you are travelling in the area or live nearby. Coffee and chai masala were excellent and the breakfasts the same, all very fresh with great bread. Service was excellent with friendly helpful staff. There was a good local atmosphere in there and we felt welcome as soon as we walked in. 5⭐️??

4 High St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterYet another fantastic meal at Fourwards. Ate from the set menu tonight and it was faultless and exceptionally good value I have never been to another restaurant that does a set menu to this standard Had a Venison stew for main although this sounds a lot more basic than it was . Had I got the skill to cook like this it would have taken me hours. Venison was falling apart and the base sauce was absolutely fantastic. Served with really creamy mash and glazed carrots . To finish it was the Raspberry and White Chocolate bread and butter pudding . Absolutely lovely . Keep doing what you are doing Adam and Stacey . Not sure what we would do if this wasn’t here in Earl Shilton .

1 West St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterHad delivery a couple times and been sorely disappointed in the cold, rubbery food we got. Today, we decided to try going in and getting it fresh. Huge difference! Very tasty, decent portion, lively staff. Will definitely only get it as takeaway/eat-in going forwards, never ordering through justeat for delivery again
Parking: Space to park for free on the road
Wheelchair accessibility: Single step in/out, which is quite low. Wheelchair users should be able to manage in most instances. Door would probably fit a standard wheelchair. Seating outside is accessible.

14 Belle Vue Rd, Earl Shilton, LeicesterWe just had Chinese from this takeaway for the first time. I ordered online and it gave me a pick up time of 35 minutes. I paid online too with no issues. I went to the shop at the pick up time, the lady behind the desk was very friendly, the food was ready and still hot when I got it home. The chicken curry was delicious, sweet and sour chicken balls, salt and chilli chips and king prawn fried rice were all also so delicious! I would recommend ??

So I did what every good husband does......?......went hunting for food!Just by the traffic lights in the centre there are three possibilities but as this was rather early only one was open.Elizabeth's, I'm glad it was, I only gave the place a four for service but that's probably not fair, (they were just opening up) but the food was top notch, bacon rolls, soft, with butter, a touch of brown sauce......Some bacon's are so salty these days, but this bacon was near perfect. Gorgeous!The shop is small with lots of wood beams, toilets and seating out back. If you need to park, there is a large off street car park 50 yds away (the local co-op) and there is on street parking closer but watch out for the traffic gestapo, read the signs. Four bacon cob's later, two very satisfied customers!. Not much to add, top class food, service was excellent, it's popular. Well worth a visit!

102 Wood St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterThey have the best Roast Pork I've ever got from a chinese takeout I highly recommend their it but if you can't have Pork/meat in general their Tofu is also the best I've had: amazing texture and flavour in their sauces, it's well worth any wait it may take and always arrives hot!! Have been ordering for years and they've always got it spot on!

Domino's Pizza - Earl Shilton
30 Wood St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterOrdered via the app and accidentally ordered the wrong crust pizza (my fault). Called up straight the way and explained and the lady sorted it out for me even thought they had already started to prep my pizza. Thank you for your help and really sorry for the inconvenience. Arrived really fast considering they had to redo :)

2-4 Station Rd, Earl Shilton, LeicesterGood kebabs. I always order a chicken shish and it is delivered with plenty of meat and lots of fresh salad. We’ve also tried the chicken doner, which was equally as good. Sometimes takes a while to arrive if using the delivery service, but much quicker for collection.

Yummy King Chinese Takeaway
10 Wood St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterThis place is quickly becoming our go-to for proper Chinese! Ordered through Uber Eats for the second time, and honestly, it was even better than the first.
We went all out: Beef in black bean sauce, crispy prawns in salt & chili, ¼ crispy aromatic duck, prawns in oyster sauce, beef fried rice, prawn fried rice – every single dish was packed with flavor and arrived piping hot within 30 minutes. Portions were generous, and they even threw in complimentary spring rolls and prawn crackers (nice touch!).
My favorites? The crispy prawns – tempura-style perfection, the beef in rich black bean sauce, and of course the crispy duck pancakes with hoisin and fresh veg. Absolute winners!
I’ve seen mixed reviews for this place, but honestly, I don’t get it – both my experiences have been fantastic. Great value, authentic touches like fortune cookies (my kids loved them), and consistently tasty food.
Highly recommend if you’re craving proper Chinese in Earl Shilton. We’ll definitely be ordering again!
