Malt Mill Bank, Barwell, LeicesterExcellent cafe and well worth a stop off if you are travelling in the area or live nearby. Coffee and chai masala were excellent and the breakfasts the same, all very fresh with great bread. Service was excellent with friendly helpful staff. There was a good local atmosphere in there and we felt welcome as soon as we walked in. 5⭐️??

4 High St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterThis restaurant has been on our list for far too long, and we finally ticked it off last night .\nThe booking process was very easy. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly, professional staff, and we sat in the bar area, which was very welcoming\nThere is a fantastic drinks selection. we chose Nyetimber Rose which was great value & at £60 per bottle, There is also a blackboard with specials and various other dishes. We were presented with a printed menu, too.\nWe started our meal with some bread which is baked onsite. The sourdough was as good as I've had in michelin Star Restaurants, and the Focaccia I described as "like a pillow" it was so light. The butter was just the right temperature to spread, too.\nWe shared a lobster crumpet. This was a dish I could eat over and over again packed with flavour.\nFor mains, We chose the Scallops, tomato & courgette & also went for the beef fillet, which is an updated version of one of the owners' dishes from their appearance on Masterchef the proffessionals.\nThe Scallops were perfectly cooked with the crust I'd expect from being pan roasted, the sweetness of the Scallop meat balancing the flavour along with the lightly pickled courgette & tomatoes that popped with that fresh greenhouse taste I really enjoy. The sauce again packed with flavour seasoned properly.\nThe fillet steak cooked exactly how I like it, the sauce & crumb on top, adding extra depth to the flavour of the meat. The pot of cottage pie , carrot & peas gave the dish a traditional but modern feel and the puree smooth,packed with flavour and seasoned to perfection.\nWe added a side order of chips. Obviously, care is taken when sourcing produce as the quality of potato used was excellent.\nAfter a pause, we decided on desserts going for sticky toffee pudding and bakewell tart.\nThe sticky toffee was the best we had tasted in a long time light with a real depth of flavour in the pudding and the sauce.\nThe pastry of the bakewell tart again was as good as I've had recently at michelin Star Restaurants. The fruit picked locally added a real burst of hedgerow flavours.\nThe whole experience of visiting Fourwards was a pleasure , service excellent, real culinary skill & care in the cooking of every dish we ate. And the venue is stylish whilst still being warm & welcoming. Definitely value for money, portions sizes perfect and we will be returning soon and booking the private dining room.

Been using for year however this Saturday when delivered was missing an order we had paid for not good and disappointed
However one mishap in a number of years can’t really grumble
Just disappointed someone in the household did not get their order

1 West St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterHad delivery a couple times and been sorely disappointed in the cold, rubbery food we got. Today, we decided to try going in and getting it fresh. Huge difference! Very tasty, decent portion, lively staff. Will definitely only get it as takeaway/eat-in going forwards, never ordering through justeat for delivery again
Parking: Space to park for free on the road
Wheelchair accessibility: Single step in/out, which is quite low. Wheelchair users should be able to manage in most instances. Door would probably fit a standard wheelchair. Seating outside is accessible.

2 Wood St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterJust passing through Earl Shilton (as we often do) and mrs Stilton felt a bit peckish. So I did what every good husband does......?......went hunting for food!Just by the traffic lights in the centre there are three possibilities but as this was rather early only one was open.Elizabeth's, I'm glad it was, I only gave the place a four for service but that's probably not fair, (they were just opening up) but the food was top notch, bacon rolls, soft, with butter, a touch of brown sauce......Some bacon's are so salty these days, but this bacon was near perfect. Gorgeous!The shop is small with lots of wood beams, toilets and seating out back. If you need to park, there is a large off street car park 50 yds away (the local co-op) and there is on street parking closer but watch out for the traffic gestapo, read the signs. Four bacon cob's later, two very satisfied customers!. Not much to add, top class food, service was excellent, it's popular. Well worth a visit!

102 Wood St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterThey have a good chef, vegetables are nice and crunchy, portions are good, the price is right (considering the way prices have risen) in the winter there's a fan heater for customers who want to wait. Overall a good performance, mrs Stilton and I usually pop in when we pass through Earl shilton, you should too!

30 Wood St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterOrdered from here a few times. It is what it is, always consistent. We find super quick delivery times in Earl Shilton, normally only takes 15 mins although it's usually later in the evening when we order. Can't moan, pizzas always hot and fresh

2-4 Station Rd, Earl Shilton, LeicesterGood kebabs. I always order a chicken shish and it is delivered with plenty of meat and lots of fresh salad. We’ve also tried the chicken doner, which was equally as good. Sometimes takes a while to arrive if using the delivery service, but much quicker for collection.

Yummy King Chinese Takeaway
10 Wood St, Earl Shilton, LeicesterIgnore the bad reviews, I've been living in the Leonardo hotel for 3 months for a large project 5 days a week and I've had tons of these, always the same quality, it's not top tier but it never lets you down when you need it.
