oday at 14.10 we visited the Costa coffee place in Castle st Hinckley on the door was a hand written note stating temporary opening hours, which we read and it stated Sunday 10am until 3pm, so we knew we had enough time for our lunch. I purchased 2 x sandwich packs, 2 x carrot & walnut cake and 2 x medium cappuccino. Use to be my regular Costa for a Sunday morning breakfast. But having return after the various COVID lockdowns server has seriously gone down hill. It's a bit if a lottery as to whether they have any bread for toast or if the toaster is working! Some staff are miserable and struggle to force a smile. Coffee quality is patchy depending which barista makes it. Looking for some where else for my Sunday morning treat.
