A lovely friendly pub with a nice atmosphere both inside & outside in the undercover area. We are always made to feel welcome by the lovely people that own & run it aswell as the locals. Best of all the beer & cider is so well kept & has you coming back for more - especially the Cold River cider in my case ??. Unfortunately I'm unable to drink at the moment but I'm sure my husband will be persuading me to go in soon as he loves the Guinness at The Ram . Maybe I'll have nice...read full review
Great pub with all you need for a good night out. Great landlord/lady and staff. So welcoming and they really look after their locals. No riff raff. Just lovely people enjoying this great venue and its laid back atmosphere. They have lots of live music too. I would definitely recommend it.

Went after taxi issues and needed somewhere to go for half an hour whilst we waited, after our Wine Club meeting at the Palace. Very impressed - really nicely done out. Staff friendly and quite happy to serve us coffee. Wish it was nearer as would happily make it my local.Parking: It seems relatively easy to park close by
