11 High St, IbstockHad our 58th wedding anniversary here, with our son and daughter and their spouses.The food was delicious.Our 1st time here, definitely come again.Our children had been here before and loved it.The portions were very generous.Lamb and chicken very tender.Overall a great experience. Thank you.Vegetarian options: My daughter had mushroom curry, thoroughly enjoyed it.Parking: Not sure. We got a disability space right near door.

71 Curzon St, IbstockGreat classic English pub, popped in with the Mrs for a quick pint on a random day out, with us being from the city it was very clear we where dressed completely different to the locals and stood out like sore thumbs, this being said we where made extremely welcome by the landlady and regulars, reminded me of how pubs used to be and should still be, friendly chats and bit of banter, myself and the good wife agreed that the pint served was the best we had had in a long time. Only problem was that we dint have time to stay longer, we have both agreed we will be making a trip here again.

51 Central Ave, IbstockThe team at Masala takeaway was incredibly warm and hospitable. Their cuisine was nothing short of delightful, perfectly tailored to my preference for spiciness and devoid of excess sugar. The service was impressively prompt, making my wait feel almost non-existent.

17 High St, IbstockWent after taxi issues and needed somewhere to go for half an hour whilst we waited, after our Wine Club meeting at the Palace. Very impressed - really nicely done out. Staff friendly and quite happy to serve us coffee. Wish it was nearer as would happily make it my local.Parking: It seems relatively easy to park close by

212 Leicester Rd, IbstockOnly went in for curry sauce and mushy peas as I was cooking my own fish at home. Friendly service and despite me only spending £3 he took time to chat to me. I even came away with a free lemon to accompany my fish. Keep up the good service and next time I will buy the full meal.

Queens Fish & Chips

The portions here are incredibly generous and 1 small fish and chips, 1 small battered sausage and chips, and 1 mixed kebab and chips was more than enough for 4 of us. The team are always friendly as well - absolutely nothing but positive things to say about Queens. Thanks!

Sunshine
41 High St, IbstockWe hadn't been for a while and forgot how good the food was. We had kebabs and asked if we could go for a pint. We asked for 1/2 an hour for it to be ready and it was still hot when we got home. About 3 days later we went again and the owner new what we wanted and and he told the staff to hang fire until they had a drink in the ram in which we thought was nice.
