Another great visit to the Oak. This time we had dinner and stayed for the family Halloween party with our 7 year old son and it was a great night. The Royal Oak lives and breathes support for the local community and puts on many events throughout the year for both kids and adults alike, the effort by the team in making these events a success are easily seen when you’re there, nothing is too much effort. Went here on the spur of the moment as another chain restaurant didn't have a table available. Glad we did. Really nice and quirky, 'local' pub. Had a deli in the main room.Had a couple of filled pittas, tandoori chicken + halloumi & veg. Very tasty and good portion.Really good and pleasant service.Seemed like a good 'local' pub.Recommended ??

Absolutely delicious, my husband and I took our youngest son and his girlfriend for Sunday lunch as an early birthday celebration. The men had 3 courses and each one was presented beautifully and really tasty, the portion size was more than enough. Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly, we have definitely become regular diners here
