Lovely food no matter what you have and always piping hot because they generally cook to order rather than having lots of selection in the warm cabinet. Pizza’s are amazing and probably the best in the area in my opinion anyway.
This chip shop does the best fish and chips that I’ve ever tasted - even beating those from the coast! Everything else - Pizzas, fish cakes, sausages and pies are also good! The staff are lovely, always answer the phone and greet you with a smile. I would like an updated menu, but I appreciate it isn’t always easy (or eco / cost friendly!) to keep regularly updating them - but any price queries I can just discuss on the phone! We have been getting our fish and chips from here for many years. The food is always good and piping hot and the staff friendly. It's good value too. They do an excellent cod roe with very light batter - the best I've had in Leicestershire.
