Great, cosy village pub with welcoming hosts. Warm yourself by the log fire or play a game of pool. All major sporting events can be watched from any spot in the pub. And, of course, the selection of beers will suit every palette.

This is a really nice village pub. They have a good selection of beers and wines. There is always a good atmosphere. They also have a pool table and great TV.

It's the beer quality and choice that makes this pub so superb. Cleanest lines and beer anywhere with beers you wont find anywhere else with 5 screens for sports.

This is our second overnight stay with our MH. The White Hart is part of the Britstop Scheme. Daniel was just as welcoming. This is a lovely village pub with a great friendly atmosphere. The locals are more than happy to sit and chat. Daniel serves typical pub grub, most of it is home cooked. Hubby had steak and ale pie and I had the Chilli. Big portions, piping hot and reasonable prices. we will be back........again

Visited a few times now, always a friendly welcome from the landlord and locals. Food is great, plentiful and always nicely presented. Good selection of beers, a very nice pint indeed. Great for us with the pub being in the Britstop scheme, means we can park up in pub car park for the night in our camper and have a meal and a few drinks, which we've done a number of times. Lovely little gem of a pub!

Called into the White Hart on our way back from holiday for a break from driving. We have been to this pub on several occasions and knew we would get a decent drink and something to eat. We were given a warm welcome from the staff as we ordered our drinks and the menu's we asked for. We didn't have to wait to long before someone came and took our order which consisted of Scampi & chips and Steak & ale pie with chips and gravy. While not over busy there were a quite a few customers and it was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Our meals arrived after not to long a wait and both meals were well presented and as we found out well cooked the Scampi was delicious and my partner really enjoyed her pie. All in all we enjoyed our time at the White Hart, the owner Daniel came over and had a little chat with us asking if everything was ok and how were we as he said he remembered us from a previous visit. If it wasn't to far from where we live this would be a great local. We will certainly call in again when in the area.

This pub has décor from the 60's, it's all very dated. Eclectic furniture is an understatement. Squeaky stools that annoy, non matching chairs and tables, upholstery taken from a 3rd class British Rail train and pinned to the internal benches, sorry paintwork, it's just a very sad environment. The carpet is worn through, the toilets are stinky and if you are there on a skittles night the constant banging of the plastic missiles into the skittles frame will drive you bonkers. Sitting outside is miserable. A desolate feeling sitting in a ripped and torn marquis full of broken and very sad furniture, an absolutely terrible experience. The pub is run like a private member's drinking club. Select customers welcome, others not so. It closes whenever the landlord feels like it, don't go late, he may have shut it. Do not be fooled by a warm smile, you will be ridiculed as soon as you leave. The pub is for sale. I do not envy whomever buys it. Eradication of the present landlords standards will be difficult, expensive and time consuming. I would avoid this pub at all costs

Me and me dad often come to the white Hart, the beer is always good, staff very friendly, Dan the landlord is always in good spirits and makes you feel at home... and the locals are good... if your looking for a proper country pub I'd hundred percent recommend... I've seen some of the negative comments on here which are in my view, unfounded and silly... one in particular is from a rude man that kicked off for being told to leave, and its pathetic when people have to get on review sights and leave lies... also love the pub games they have accessible, I.e skittles, darts, pool... gives the place a nice feel...Countless people have gone into the hart and countless people have been made to feel welcome. A good pub in a good villageI loves it i doAnd the foods banging ?

Amazing!!!! Dan is possibly the greatest landlord you could ask for. He is super supportive of the local community and a pillar of the village.

Really good food served by very friendly and engaging staff. The only concern was that a cat arrived part way through our meal pursued by the chef who said "she shouldn't be out here". So where was she supposed to be... In the kitchen?
