Bar • “An undiscovered gem of a pub with rooms. Customer service was first class from time we arrived to the time we left. Arriving at 6.00pm on a Sunday we discovered that the kitchen closed at 5.00pm, but the chef overheard our disappointment and interrupted his own meal to serve us a roast dinner!!The food was superb and the staff friendly and welcoming. It happened to be a quiz night so we joined in and had a great time, making new friends in the process.Our room was really comfortable and beautifully decorated. Unlike other places we've stayed in, real glasses were provided both in the room and in the bathroom. Can't rate it high enough. We will definitely return when we feel the need for mini-break again”
