6 Roman Way, Market HarboroughWonderful first visit to this great bakery. They have lots of delicious items on display. It was really easy to order at the window. I’m not sure if you can go inside. They seemed to just be serving from the window. We had two coffees that were really nice, a yummy NYC cookie which was extremely moorish and a giant pain aux raisin that was bigger than our head.
The staff were very friendly and quickly prepared our items.

I've eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants and the service here was on a par with them Ordered food on the app and decided to order drinks from the bar. We'd not long been sat with our drinks and the manager came over to apologise for the delay in our starters arriving. They really weren't late - it's a Saturday night and we'd probably only been waiting 10 mins. We ordered a steak blue and it came out perfectly. All of the food was of very high quality, chips were crisp and perfectly seasoned. Thank you Roebuck team at Market Harborough!!!

On each occasion there only seemed to be one member of staff on duty but each one was very welcoming, efficient and friendly. Food arrived promptly and was amazing. Portion sizes definately large so my advice is missing a starter to leave room for desert! Pizza is definately the best I have had outside Rome - thin and crispy with generous toppings that reach the edge!

It was our first visit—and definitely not our last. Our friends brought us here, and it was the perfect choice. Set in a beautiful village, the restaurant had a buzzing atmosphere on a busy Friday evening.
Our table wasn’t quite ready, but we enjoyed drinks at the bar before being seated about 15 minutes later. The food was outstanding—easily some of the best we’ve had in a long time. A great menu with delicious dishes, and all the meat sourced from their own farm in Great Easton—10/10.
The staff truly made the experience. Joanna was exceptional—we even thought she was the owner, given her warmth and presence. Despite how busy it was, everyone was friendly and attentive.
We’ve found a gem and can’t wait to return.

The food was top notch (we had a party in the far dining room, with a cold buffet, which was delicious). The drinks are reasonably priced. Good selection of beers, wine and gin. Garden is spacious and good for children (pebbles and grass). Very grateful to John, Harry, Luke and the team for their efforts. Very lucky to have such a great pub in the village.

Welcomed even though most of the tables were reserved..we were early and hadn't pre-booked.. so no problem getting served thankfully.
Lovely menu.. we had the spicy king prawns for starters and brushetta.
Then the gluten free based sea food pizza ? and spicy calzone..finished with a tiramisu and bottle of Rose .. definitely return when next in Market Harborough.. our first visit to the town..lovely people and beautiful place!

A lovely customer remembered them and chatted with us about them and the darts - thank you! The food was delicious - we all had the Gumley Smokies - a very generous portion! Was met at the door and shown to the table. Drinks order was taken and arrived at the table within 5 minutes. Carvery was well set out with a variety of meats.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The place itself has quite a good relaxed atmosphere. Although quite a distance from home, if I'm in the area, I'll be stopping here again.

The chippy was clean inside, well presented, lots of food in the hot counters. I ordered a cone of chips to try it out and was pleasantly surprised.
The chips were absolutely delicious! Soft inside and crispy on the outside, just the way I like it! Ended up demolishing the lot really quickly ?
Service was very polite and welcoming.
My new favourite chippy in Market Harborough (and possibly Northants!)

The owners have a real passion for the food they make, and it comes across in the flavour, generous portion sizes and high quality of each dish. Everything is hand made by them.
If you want some to make at home, you can buy their sui mai or dumplings frozen - easy to make at home ans amazing compared to supermarket alternatives.

Id recommend the satay beef, the flavours are subtle and refined. I really enjoy their rice too, its always very fresh and tasty. It can be on the expensive side however its a nice treat and the flavours are different from the other chinese cuisines on offer in the town. Staff are always very polite and kind too.

We visited for bunch on a busy Saturday.
Due to the space and high ceilings it was a fairly noisy place with coffee machines and kitchen sounds echoing through quiet enough that you could still have a conversation. The eggs Benedict was delicious along with the chocolate milkshakes. The staff were friendly and it’s wheelchair accessible

23 Abbey St, Market HarboroughWe have just discovered this amazing Chinese and have had takeaway from it 2 days in a row its been that delicious! The food was well packed and stayed extremely hot for a long time. The chicken chow mein is exceptional, not salty or oily like most takeaways. It has nice thick noodles with a generous amount of chicken in it. The beef in black pepper sauce was incredible too and packed with beef. Overall every dish was spot on, they offer a large range of vegetarian dishes, we will definitely be having a takeaway from here again soon

18 High St, Market HarboroughMy wife and I enjoyed our visit to this Wetherspoons pub on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 18, 2026 after discovering it while exploring Google Maps ahead of our day trip to the town.
It being a Wednesday, we took advantage of the Pizza Club, which offered an 11 inch pizza with a soft drink for £7.06 each. Our meal was served promptly and was tasty, well presented and filling.
Staff were friendly, polite and professional. We noticed they were proactive in ensuring the popular coffee machine offered the full range of drinks - and they also cleared and cleaned tables promptly.
The pub was light and airy inside. The loos were clean and tidy and perhaps unusually for a Wetherspoons pub, they were located in the ground floor.
This was our inaugural visit to the pub and we will return next time we’re in Market Harborough. We will also recommend it to others.

117 Coventry Rd, Market HarboroughA useful store - good to know it's there - but not the sort of place you could regularly shop in, both because of the range of products and the price mark-ups. That said, it's ideal for the emergency run where only a tub of ice-cream, hunk of cake, or ready meal will do, or for picking up the papers on the way out of town, and it does carry a few lines you don't see around that much lately. There is a cash point outside the building, one of the few on this side of town, and a public noticeboard to the back of the store. The store has always been clean and tidy when I've visited and the staff are efficient and generally friendly.

The most powerful burgers you’ve ever seen, not like that overpriced crap from the usual king and clown. This thing was so heavy it had its own gravitational pull. Chips came with it too, not that you need them. Layers of cheese, chicken beef and bacon all come together for a flavour explosion so intense you’ll go for a beer in the nags knowing flames will make it worth your while even if you get a black eye or a Poole stick wrapped round your chops. You can even choose the salat and sauce when you pick them up! Matey running the FOH was spot on, proper polite and enthusiastic, real asset to the business and made sure everything was spot on.
Cant recommend enough taste. it to believe it.

60 Main St, Foxton, Market HarboroughDo NOT be put off by the rather bright, almost cafe-like interior, this obviously very community focussed pub has a very welcoming landlord and staff, great beer, and food that massively surpassed expectations. We just had normal pub food, but the steak and ale pie was one of the best I've had, and the ham egg and chips was definitely the best ever!

I've eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants and the service here was on a par with them Ordered food on the app and decided to order drinks from the bar. We'd not long been sat with our drinks and the manager came over to apologise for the delay in our starters arriving. They really weren't late - it's a Saturday night and we'd probably only been waiting 10 mins. We ordered a steak blue and it came out perfectly. All of the food was of very high quality, chips were crisp and perfectly seasoned. Thank you Roebuck team at Market Harborough!!!

The Bell Inn
Main St Gumley, Market HarboroughWe came to The Bell for lunch on Saturday and to reminisce. My dad, Peter Elliott, used to play darts here with a local, David Illson, 50 plus years ago. A lovely customer remembered them and chatted with us about them and the darts - thank you! The food was delicious - we all had the Gumley Smokies - a very generous portion! Atmosphere and service also first class. Thank you.

17 Abbey St, Market HarboroughWe went on a Sunday. Menu was small - different roast dinners, fish n chips, and another option, I think. It was amazing! Never has a Sunday dinner tasted so good! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Prices were reasonable, n puddings, just fab. I wish we lived here. Sadly, we were just there for the weekend.

Our visit was slightly marred by being told towards the end of our meal that our table was needed as a large group was arriving soon. We would have appreciated being told this on booking or at least on arrival.

13/15 Adam and Eve St, Market HarboroughRecently discovered this Italian gem in Market Harborough and already returned 3 times in 6 weeks. On each occasion there only seemed to be one member of staff on duty but each one was very welcoming, efficient and friendly. Food arrived promptly and was amazing. Portion sizes definately large so my advice is missing a starter to leave room for desert! Pizza is definately the best I have had outside Rome - thin and crispy with generous toppings that reach the edge!

Cherry Tree, Church Walk, Market HarboroughAlways enjoy an hour here on a Friday evening.You may struggle to find a seat as it can get rammed early doors but normally plenty of staff on to keep the service quick.\nPlanning applications in to redo the thatch, change the signs and no doubt paint the exterior(and it really needs it)and can't wait to see the finished product hopefully by Christmas but it is Harborough DC you're dealing with so best of luck.........\nGood range of Everards on tap which suits me fine!!

76B St Mary's Rd, Market HarboroughOur first visit to Market Harborough..we wanted to check out a good ale house...a little out of town but within walking distance..situated down a side alley...very spacious outside..plenty of benches.. there were a few elderly bikers there with their vintage bikes.
Service was quick and friendly.. very good selection of beers ?.. worth the visit.. love the town too..we'll be back!
