I've been here quite a lot now: sorry I don't have any photos to share but it's because I'm too busy eating whatever I've purchased!! I don't eat meat but I've loved everything else I've tried here. The hummus and olive flatbreads are yummy and today I enjoyed the Bombay potatoes one - could really get all those tastes including the delicious mango chutney, yum! The fresh bread is wonderful. They also do delicious coffee. And it's a big bonus that everyone I've encountered who works there is so friendly and helpful. I recommend getting there early because they sell out fast! Not before me though :D

Visited this lovely cozy restaurant as we had seen it a few times when visiting family in a nearby village.We were not disappointed, the welcome from the staff was nice and we were shown to our table.We all went for the special of the day, beer battered cod and chips served with mushy peas and tartar sauce, it was absolutely delicious, the portion size was plentiful. I’m not a fan of busy pubs, but this one was busy and I actually didn’t mind, the atmosphere, despite being busy, was calm and collected, the ambience was perfect and there was a lovely clientele of people, no rowdy behaviour - a perfect setting for such a place as well, right by the canal basin. The food was amazing, the service was spot on, the place itself was quaint and lovey and clean. I will definitely be coming here again, all four of us left satisfied and happy, wishing to return sooner rather than later.The photos are of the puddings my son and I had (Belgian chocolate truffle torte with honeycomb ice cream and then the other, a mint and white chocolate cheesecake with choc chips), I totally forgot to do the main course, but loved my burger and my son loved his pork belly. I would say I totally hated the food just so I could guarantee that it was on the menu for me next time, but that would be unfair and do the place no justice at all as it was spot on with everything. Thank you everyone, perfect afternoon.

Staff so polite and accommodating! My son and partner and myself had a full 2 course meal EACH and a bottle of wine and beers for around £60.00 all in with starters etc..Great evening ! Thankyou. ??Parking: Parking is NOT the selling point of this Indian delight ...its the quality and affordingness of the food ! Whats so important about parking? Its a ten minuit walk from town centre ..about 6 carparks there ..one is at the resaurant itself! I am disabled ..it works for me .. x

Seeing the mixed reviews on here, decided to try this out. I placed the order online through their website and collected in person. We had Mutter Paneer and Brinjal Bhaji with white and garlic rice, a garlic naan and a puri, for £17.20. We were pleasantly surprised, it was all very tasty, satisfying and at a decent price. Despite the name "red hot curry pot", these dishes were fairly mild.The shop itself is a small area with a counter, behind which is the entrance to the kitchens. It seemed clean and the staff were quick to fetch my order.My only complaint would be that I didn't get any contact from them to tell me that it was ready to pick up, though it was still hot when I arrived.

Let's me start by saying food was excellent at this restaurant , from the chicken and sweet corn soup , the crispy aromatic duck , to the spicy chicken dish, beansprouts and garlic rice . The warm saki was lovely too . One star off because the service was lacking and at times we had to call staff ourselves to order . Once they arrived they were polite but consistently through a dining experience this should not happen . I will try this restaurant again and hopefully the service matches the excellent dishes next time .

Fish and chips are good and always consistently good, we especially like and recommend the halloumi fritters and the fish bites for kids! The stand out thing is the staff and service they provide. They went above and beyond to rectify a small mistake with our order which left my wife and I amazed and surprised. Really impressed and enjoy are regular chippy dinner. Special Hors D’Oeuvres were nice and crisp, the mains were hot and a complimentary portion of prawn crackers to top it all off. Really happy and will be making this our go to. Delicious****************Just ordered a second meal a month later and it was just as good as the first. We decided on “starter extravaganza” mixed hot d’oeuvres, chi& salt chicken wings and large dumplings ( asked for curry sauce instead of sweet and sour) from the Chef’s specialties. We walked here after mooring our canal boat up at the top of Foxton locks on a Thursday night. It was a busy night with a really great village pub atmosphere and an open log fire roaring away in the corner. What really makes this an outstanding find is the team of people that work and run the pub who were very friendly. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, everyone went above and beyond to help even going as far as offering to run us back to the boat! Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to try the menu but the food coming out of the kitchen looked great and smelt wonderful! Thanks again to everyone at the Bell Inn and hope to see you all again in the future.
