We stopped in for lunch at this lovely family run pub set in the village of Hallaton with lovely sunny gardens. The food here is always amazing and can't recommend highly enough. I felt bad that I couldn't quite finish my food due to being so full. Yum yum thanks Maz and his team
Just had Sunday lunch here for the fourth time (in two years) We had the same menu items as on previous visits, too. It's nice (to us anyway) to find the menu's the same, and that the quality's just the same, with the same guy producing the food. Consistency's a nice quality in itself. Our grandson had turkey, we had a vegetarian Brie tart. The accompanying vegetables arrived well cooked without being overcooked, and not overly seasoned/salted. Amazing roast dinners. Accommodating to additional requests. Huge portions (and they were happy to box up my 4 yr olds left overs as she said she wanted it the next day too!) Really friendly staff who are good with (very) talkative children!
