I’ve stayed at the hotel before, the rooms are well dated, but clean.On arrival, the welcome, was non existent!! Just a blunt women, no how are you, no nothing. She didn’t tell in which direction my room was, she was as blunt they come !!The last time I had an evening meal hear it was great, this time it was bland, Yorkshire pudding with Lincolnshire sausages, I didn’t eat them, poor quality, In fact I’m glad I could only get one night in here as it was booked up. Dud not stay overnight, rather a Christmas lunch ( ex work colleagues). Good food, well cooked and presented. Reasonable wine prices.Food & drinks: Very good Christmas lunch (for 24 guests in one party). Reasonable price for both the 3 course lunch and wine. Booked again for next year.
