“Lovely place, was really busy when we visited (about 10am on a sunday) for a spot of breakfast. we were served quickly and food arrived promptly. Top quality ingredients, best black pudding I've had in a long time. Staff were very pleasant and the place was clean.Didn't get chance to look properly round the farm shop but the fresh produce looked very good quality.Lots of parking in a lovely environment.Would definitely visit again when in the area”

“This is a great find by the canal in Hickling, offering hot and cold drinks plus food and ice cream - complete with outside seating. We were able to enjoy the sun with a cold drink whilst we watched the ducks. Friendly staff - will definitely go back.”

“Visited for early door Cocktails and food with friends. Was a nice chilled setting, food was lovely and the cocktails were 2 for the price of 1.A bit disappointed that the cocktails weren't in cocktail glasses, but otherwise a nice evening.”

“Came upon this wonderful cafe on a beautifully sunny Monday afternoon. We had been on a walk from Hickling via Hose. We’d run out of water and were gasping for a drink. The pub we passed was closed, so we were so pleased to see the cafe was still open. Lovely service on arrival and we ordered drinks and cakes to eat in the advertised garden out the back. Despite it being almost closing time we were not rushed and spent a lovely time in the sun-trap of a garden. Fabulous selection of cakes and drinks here. My wheat free nut and seed cake was so moist and delicious. Feeling refreshed we went to purchase some bottled water for our journey ahead and the wonderful lady behind the counter offered to fill our water bottles for free with water from the fridge. A very kind gesture. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again when in the area.”

“We're here in the Smile Cafe. Car Park on side, cafe within a bigger shop. Nice and clean inside with plenty of space. Late breakfast as on route to Grantham. Real sausage here. Price, just 20p over the tenner.Would use again.”

Particularly nice to sit outside to catch the lunchtime or early evening sunshine. Friendly, efficient and helpful staff and a delicious range of favourites and nee options for food and drink at very reasonable prices in a pleasant environment.”
