Came upon this wonderful cafe on a beautifully sunny Monday afternoon. We had been on a walk from Hickling via Hose. We’d run out of water and were gasping for a drink. The pub we passed was closed, so we were so pleased to see the cafe was still open. Lovely service on arrival and we ordered drinks and cakes to eat in the advertised garden out the back. Good food in a homely environment although personally I didn’t value the dogs company watching me eat. Staff initially forgot we had entered so we did not get table service, however, this is a great eatery in a pleasant rural location with food that is value for money

Dropped in here for a drink and snack. What we had was hot and tasty, and the staff were freindly. The only thing against it was the very high step at the entrance which I struggled to get up, but was then told there was another entrance at the back which was level, duly noted for future visits. (I have my eye on one of those delicious looking pasties in the window).
