Can’t fault the food which was great, rich and spicy and decent sized portions.Unfortunately, having booked a table when we turned up they had no record but did get us a table after 25 minutes and provided a couple of drinks on the house.Unfortunately service at the table, whilst prompt was a bit rushed resulting in a bowl of rice being spilt on me by the waiter.Also, probably due to it being a Saturday night the place was very noisy with some obvious party crowds in. Had a cracking meal here tonight, loads of veggie options and the paneer tikka Makhani blew our minds ! Also loved the stuffed veg naan. Amazing service, staff super friendly. Thanks so much!P.s. absolutely mesmerising water feature, wasn’t listening to a word my partner was saying ?!

This is the second time I’ve been to the Purple Garlic & everything was just as good as the first time. Menu has a varied choice. Food is excellent & good value for money. Staff friendly, helpful & considerate.I can definitely recommend the Purple Garlic Karahi.Parking: Plenty of parking in the Burton Street car park, off Mucky Lane, just round the back of the Purple Garlic. Parking is free after 6pm.
