Came on a Monday evening and had two mains for £11.49 - so really good VFM. Service from Rachel was good as was the food. Quick and efficient service. It will never get Michelin stars but good, honest pub grub. We had the fish and chips with a potion of curry sauce - which we both loved
The pub is very nice and the service very friendly and professional.However the rooms are extremely tired and I understand it is planned to refurbish them in the future.Walkability: Close to the railway station and town centre. The business park is also walkable in around 25 minutes.Food & drinks: Excellent Greene King offerings. Good value for money and a varied selection.
