Another great weekend at the Cow & Plough. We were in the area for rugby and like to stay at Oadby. The Cow & Plough is a lovely, well looked after bar/restaurant. The site also has a farm shop, small businesses including craft, beauty, gift and children's play areas. The food here is lovely, the gluten free carbonara is tasty and the portions are generous. Went for breakfast...nothing plated on offer, only cobs. Nice bacon/egg, but cheapest quality sausages & bread despite being inside a 'deli'. Long delays in service, and top price for average food. Also looked at the main pub menu...Wow, the prices!! £19 for fish & chips??? They are really taking the mickey.
