Wow - such a lovely, welcoming pub with great food. We were heading to kilworth house and they kindly started serving food early so we could dine with them before the show. So glad we came, there were 10 of us and we ordered a variety of food and it was all cooked well and delicious. I had the veggie burger and it was the nicest I've ever had. The man behind the bar was super friendly and welcoming, and the drinks and food were great value for money. We will definitely be back....read full review

Awesome pub! Our walkers really needed this pit stop. Allowed to eat our own food as the kitchen opens later. The drinks are delicious and we’ve tucked into some bar snacks. The staff even put on tunes for us: The Proclaimers, 500 Miles! We’re on day 4/5 walking from London to Loughborough in aid of Bipolar Disorder and this has really cheered our spirits.

Under new ownership the Black Horse has become the best village pub in this corner of South Leics...trust me I've tried them all... always a great & changing selection of hand pulled ales plus wines & spirits for all tastes. Food ain't bad neither.Landlord is a bit of a character too...t
