Great place if you have Coeliac Disease. I’ve been recently diagnosed so was nervous to eat out. But the owner was very reassuring answering all of my annoying questions. He explained they have 5 fryers and the chips are fried in their own fryer so there’s no risk of cross contamination. I had the fish and chips and crème brûlée, both were delicious. Met with 2 friends for my birthday meal today. Wonderfully quaint pub with a lively atmosphere. There was plenty of choice and the food was fresh and served piping hot. The Manager had a welcome sense of humour and was very hospitable. The service was prompt, friendly and polite. We will be going again. Highly recommended. Thanks. Karen.

Enjoyed our meal but didn't feel that wow factor. Food was fine however peas were not cooked well and creme brulé wasn't as smooth as it could have been. Service was slow, which was forgivable when they were busy as there were only two serving all the tables and the bar, but not so forgivable when we were the only ones left. Cleanliness of tables wasn't as good as it could be and the four dead flies on the window sill next to our table didn't add to the ambience.
