Great meal. I had steak and Ale pie. Rest of family had various items off menu and really enjoyed it all. Staff very helpful and friendly. Worth a visit when so many country pubs are closing. ???
Walked from country park to this pub as was recommended and it didn’t disappoint, we had a light lunch, prawn baguette and a tuna melt baguette which came with chips and salad, ham egg and chips, and a cheese ploughmans, friendly hosts and food was very good value for money, we sat outside in the beer garden as it was a nice sunny afternoon with our 2 dogs. Would Recommend and return

We were welcomed and given a table in spite of not having booked. The friendly gentleman at front of house I give 10 out of 10 as he also manned the bar, took our order and waited on tables - he was a blur. No doubt someone was working equally hard in the kitchen providing super meals. I had lamb shank - lovely!
