This old house is beautiful inside and out. Our four booster bed room was spacious and clean, with good heating in early Nov. 2023. The bathroom is modern with good hot water pressure and choice of shower heads.

Superb. Just what we had wanted. Lovely large room, comfortable bed, good facilities, excellent breakfast .... including kippers and welcoming hosts. Very dog friendly and lovely garden. One of the most pleasant places we have stayed in a very long time and would certainly return if in the area again.

This was a lovely place for our long weekend break,,, a change of scenery.The welcome we received was lovely,, great friendly hosts,,, always got time to chat to you and full of information.Also,,, when we arrived, the front door was already open,,, how very welcoming.Breakfast,,, all freshly cooked for you,,, nothing was too much trouble at all,,, and beautiful.We shall be visiting again ?

All I can say is my stay at the black swan has been perfect in every way . The owner's can't do enough for you. Lovely full English breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. One word perfect ?

Lovely guesthouse. The owner was really friendly and looked after me well. I was on an overnight stop on a bikepacking trip and the outdoor courtyard room was perfect for me to access with the bike. Nice room but knocked off a star for the pillows - a little thin for me. Breakfast the next day was superb - continental and cooked. Perfect fueling!!!
