Was told about this pub from the owner of the lodge we're staying at. So glad he recommended it to us. Atmosphere was fantastic and the food was absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend it to everyone. We will definitely be returning. xFood & drinks: Couldn't of been better. Absolutely gorgeous.
I can't share a review on the rooms, but couldn't leave it at no stars.The staff were all lovely, and well managed.Resturant and bar were full to the brim and we had a short wait for a table (our own fault for turning up at peak time without booking). It didn't effect the top service in anyway, and we didn't wait long. Happily sat at the bar with a drink.Food was excellent and value for money.Atmosphere was homey and inviting.(Coke on draught not pepsi...And they were proper chips...read full review

Dined here for Saturday lunch. Good food selection and it was absolutely delicious. Check out the specials board for something different. The curry was excellent and a good portion size too. Best jam sponge and custard I have had in a long while.
