We visited for the first time Saturday 14 October, we travelled from Chesterfield and arrived an hour before it closed. But there was no fish left and very few chips left. We managed to get the last couple of portions of chips and peas, which were lovely, but people behind us in the queue got nothing. We were disappointed in not getting any fish and not sure I would make the trip again for that reason.
Ignore the negative comments. This is a banging chippy. Amazing fish, chips and peas. You will see as you read, people complaining about their second visit. Obviously it can't be that bad if they have gone back. Fools.

I have driven here from Mansfield tonight and by god was it worth best fish n chips I've ever had. Met a lovely lady in queue and she ordered me a jumbo haddock. All the ladys were lovely and welcoming. I will be back after your holidays.Absolutely
