Clean, quiet, extremely polite bar staff who may well have been the owners. Good selection of beers. Good prices. It's the first time I've visited but I'll definitely be back

I have lived in Gainsborough nearly my whole life and never stepped foot in the elm cottage....until a couple of weeks ago while waiting for a takeaway across the road. And now I love going in there just for 1 drink with my husband. It has such a lovely feel to it, the people are friendly. I don't live in town anymore but now call it my un-local local.
