The atmosphere was amazing! It was warm, there was a rustic-vibe with the decoration that is surrounded all around you. There is Italian music playing and the service was so warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and they efficiently served our food and also took away food in a neat manner. If we were not able to finish all the food, we were allowed to take it all home as well. First went here 3 years ago and it was .......ok! Now under new ownership and what a complete change !! They have managed to complete change the atmosphere....very cosy small restaurant feel. Good selection of wine and Italian beer on draught. The starters were very generous size was ! I went for the Italian meats and cheese board ! Was the size of a mains and very well presented. We went for a birthday meal. The restaurant was very busy but well organised, perfect waiting time between each course, every dish was wonderful. Reasonably priced, unmissable if you come to Grantham. Be sure to book and have the tiramisu.
