We had quite a few rounds in with a great group of friends... Some what spoiled by minehost, perhaps it was an off night.. I'm not really sure.. The Ales wee fine... The crowd was fine... And I definitely like the area (As I've visited on many many occasions) I'll try it again... So it's fingers crossed ? for

Love it in here. Usually very busy and the people who are in always talk to you. The publican can't do enough for you. I was in here a while back for a friend's funeral wake. We were made welcome , and because our great friend who was an ex fisherman used to also drink in here I can't believe how many people knew him. When we had a booming fishing town this pub was always one of the most thriving pubs down Freeman Street. Our friend Artie Coppin had a send off that he deserved.Wheelchair accessibility: I have been in on my mobility scooter and everyone moves tables and chairs and opens doors for you. The drinkers in here can't be more friendly.

Was a different experience with the "locals" one girl arguing about winning at pool, dragging me into the argument, in a light hearted way.(,she was wrong tho) Drinks were cheap place was clean and the tunes were banging.
