Shelly's & Sonjas is a traditional cafe on Freeman street in Grimsby and is located opposite the market. Great food and great ladies. The portion sizes are quite substantial and don't cost a great deal. It can sometimes feel a little claustrophobic at times when it's busy due to the small size and the spiral staircase dominating much of the limited seating area, but it doesn't bother me as it's a lovely little café in all.

I have eaten here many times. I have always found the food to be good, hot and priced reasonably. You are always served with a warm smile. The menu is extensive, and if it's healthy eating you are looking for, there are several items to choose from. I also like that the food is cooked traditionally, with fresh ingredients and like Mother and Grandmother use to. Don't take my word for it, try it for yourself.
