Love it in here. Usually very busy and the people who are in always talk to you. The publican can't do enough for you. I was in here a while back for a friend's funeral wake. We were made welcome , and because our great friend who was an ex fisherman used to also drink in here I can't believe how many people knew him. When we had a booming fishing town this pub was always one of the most thriving pubs down Freeman Street. Our friend Artie Coppin had a send off that he deserved.Wheelchair...read full review

Was a different experience with the "locals" one girl arguing about winning at pool, dragging me into the argument, in a light hearted way.(,she was wrong tho) Drinks were cheap place was clean and the tunes were banging.

Very friendly boozer, the beer is kept v.well and cheap too. Bar staff were lovely and the locals were very sociable .Iwill definitely be back again when my ship is in Grimsby ⚓?
