Good, well prepared and cooked food.The lemon drizzle cake was excellent.Service was efficient and friendly.Calm atmosphere, not noisy.Don't be put off by the exterior, the inside is clean, well arranged and comfortable.We shall always consider coming here again when traveling in the area.Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast.
Great little truckstop, takes snap but otherwise £25 including hgv parking and a two course meal with a wide choice such as omelette, steak and kidney pud, sausages and mash, lasagne, mixed grill and various all day breakfasts, with free shower, and tea and coffee facilities left out for the morning. Parking area badly potholed and Only one shower, if these 2 things were improved, I'd give it 5 stars instead of 4. 2023 Truckstop of the year. Recommended.

Always stop here when I am down visiting relatives, in fact I use it for breakfast every day whilst here. I have never had a bad meal here. I thoroughly recommend the breakfasts. Staff are friendly and the place is immaculately clean. I would go as far as to say this is my favourite cafe in the country.
