Fabulous pub which is a real ale 'proper' pub. Good range of real ales, which continually change. No frills, no piped music, just ordinary folk chatting and having a relaxed drink. Just like pubs used to be!
Stopped by for a couple of pints on a Saturday night and had a lovely time. I'm well looked after for good beer and a good pub as my daughter runs an excellent pub that finished in the last 16 of the CAMRA pub of the year but the Smugglers is pretty much on par. A lovely pint, good knowledge of the beers from the staff and a really welcoming vibe.An all round winner in my eyes.

We were made to feel so welcome and the dog was treated like a celebrity, very dog friendly! Tried all of the guest beers and there was a nice varied selection, all in perfect condition, plus the service was great. The staff were friendly and kept on top of things even though it was busy.
