“Two of us called in last Wednesday Evening (21st June) to book lunch for the following day. We had an evening meal while we were there. The staff were very friendly, the pub was clean and the food was very good quality, very delicious, all homemade. We will definitely go there again when we are down that way.”

“It’s a ‘proper’ pub with friendly manager and staff. Don’t expect high tech or brand new furnishings, it’s well-worn but authentic and genuine. I will definitely stay again when working in this area. I also had 2 large bacon baps made the night before for me as I had to leave very early in the morning. Good, well priced food and menu there! It is dog-friendly too.”
