Nice pub with a good section of drinks. We stopped for lunch on our wedding anniversary as we had been here previously and enjoyed it. I do wonder if it has changed management/ownership since our last visit though. Our starters were lovely. Potato & Chorizo fritters and the Bodicea Gin Cured Salmon. Picked Palmers Ale House as a half way point to meet friends for lunch. The young waitress who greeted us was bubbly and welcoming and remained so throughout our lunch. The menu was extensive and varied but as the day was foggy and temperature below zero our group all decided on comforting staples; burgers, fish and chips and halloumi burger. What a find, found this after seeing a Facebook post. We will be back lovely staff lovely atmosphere but most important wow to find a restaurant that serves hot food, which should be the requirement but most places you go it's like warm. Thanks for a lovely evening
