What an amazing gem of a pub to find!!! The food was delicious and homemade, the drinks really decent prices! Has a great little nook game room with pool, darts and fusbol. Parking and a camping area out the back, which - if you buy food - you get the camping free!! What??!!! Awesome.The couple are so welcoming, with some great ideas for an area of the UK where private run pubs are slowly disappearing... The landlord and landlady are trying very hard to make a new start with this rundown pub, and some refurbishment is still crying out to be completedMeal was mediocre mushy peas near cold and chips not fully cookedStrange clientele coming and goingParking: Level gravel at front and large grass area to rear for camper vans and electric hookup available no other facilities available

Where to start. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and no one seemed to mind our dogs - who admittedly can be a little loud, especially our youngest puppy.
