Wow, what a great restaurant even though you are in a seaside village, you feel like you could be in Spain or Portugal! The variety on the menu can please everyone in your group from the most conservative to the most adventurous. I had the posh fish finger sandwich with chunky chips. It was amazing the Matcha latte is great. on another occasion, I had the breakfast bagel with egg and cheese, and it was so good and only 5 pound. Just a short one… we visited Sutton-on-sea for a short beach walk but needed a coffee first and we happened across this cosy café. Friendly staff and top marks for delicious above-average coffee and hot chocolate, and a tasty Portuguese nata (custard tart). If I ever visit again I will have one of the amazing selection of cakes, the best I’ve seen outside a top restaurant!

Having not been to Sutton for a while, today was our first visit. We spotted the Ice Rock Cafe and although we hadn't booked, we found a table near the window. We felt the place had a great atmosphere, and the menu choices were very good. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The food proved to be outstanding, and the coffee was of a high standard too. I really couldn't give the place a higher recommendation. And we will definately be back again.
