It was my husbands 60th so quite a large group, the pub was very busy as always, the staff are amazing, they never stop, the food was brought to our table hot and delicious, a mix of carverys and daily menu, they let me bring my own cake which they presented better than i ever could have for dessert. A really nice village pub. Staff are very friendly, they always have a good selection of cask ales on tap. The food is very nice, it gas a great atmosphere no matter on the time visiting. Couldn't ask anything more of a village pub!

The landlord is always cheerful and welcoming. The food is delicious, especially the steak pie which you have to have with the buttery mash. Homemade pizzas are always nice too and highly recommend the Sunday lunch. Great pub with friendly staff and very tasty food.
