Just had the meat and potato pie. I can tell you thus isn't just any meat and potato pie. This is Gail's homemade steak and potato pie filled with gravy. More steak than potatoes. Pastry crisp and not too thick and not a soggy bottom in sight! And the handmade chips are also to die for. Very friendly place and cheap too!
This was my second visit to the cafe for food on the go. The place is nice and clean and the service is prompt and friendly . A bacon, egg and sausage bun will satisfy the largest of appetites. You can certainly be ambitious and order two, but prepare to be defeated. I will certainly be coming back again...
