“Stopped here for a Sunday dinner, the food was lovely, beef was served pink and was informed of this on ordering, it was lovely, the pork I am told was just a nice. Crème brûlée for dessert was just heaven, served with a raspberry sorbet on the side.The service was fantastic, the servers never seemed to stop, they were constantly tidying away plates or bringing food and drinks.Highly recommend this lovely restaurant, thank you.”

“Attended to umpire a cricket match. Parking was a challenge until junior footballers left. Plenty of parking though. The bar area also served snack food. Very pleasant welcome and obviously made an effort. I would say the changing rooms were not particularly good, and there was no room for us officials.The cricket pitch played ok, however the outfield needed a mow; the grass was about 2 to 3 inches long which impeded any ball travel.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming, lots of young people around using the play area and playing football on the back field.Parking: Plenty of parking facing the cricket field, not that that is recommended. Also plenty of parking away from the field and facing the other way.”

“Having been meaning to visit for a while we finally did Saturday.There was a free bouncy castle for the children to enjoy.We ordered tapas which was delightful. I cannot understand why the pub isn't a lot busier, it was a lovely vibe and great service.The outdoor area and indoor area are both fantastically presented.”

“Lovely impromptu visit to Millers (as my train was cancelled). Spot of lunch and a glass of red; all very nice and great service. Quiet, as you’d expect on a wet Weds afternoon, but I expect it gets busy after work.”
