Attended to umpire a cricket match. Parking was a challenge until junior footballers left. Plenty of parking though. The bar area also served snack food. Very pleasant welcome and obviously made an effort. I would say the changing rooms were not particularly good, and there was no room for us officials.The cricket pitch played ok, however the outfield needed a mow; the grass was about 2 to 3 inches long which impeded any ball travel.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming, lots...read full review
Went to a busy bank holiday car boot today, and had a fantastic cheese toastie in the pavilion afterwards. Great day!Repeated the above on the late spring bank holiday 2023, except we were wearing coats and scarves! Cheese toastie from the Pavilion was still excellent.
