What a fantastic meal hot freshly cooked roast honey glazed gammon slices were about 10mm thick X2 roast pork not quite as thick hardly any fat to cut off X2 nice veg all fresh potatoes could have been boiled an little longer before roasting but everything was eaten and enjoyed will definitely go
Rarely have a been out for a meal where every aspect has been absolutely delightful. At this pub: the friendly welcome; the personal service; the beers on offer; the range of food, were all fabulous. We opted for the roast dinner. I am a bit of a fan of the roast dinner, and the one on offer here was magnificent! We visited the Black Horse for the first time for Sunday lunch, which was fantastic! Delicious beautifully cooked food - gorgeous tender beef and pork, crispy roasties and a lovely range of well-cooked veg. Each of the 3 of us tried a different dessert, all of which were delicious. It was very welcoming and cosy and the service was amazing, nothing too much trouble. Thanks for a brilliant experience - we’ll definitely be back!
