The food is beautifully presented. We had mostly fish and vegetarian dishes. Good wine list and nice surroundings. The waitress didn’t know full details about the menu but not a big problem.
We were visiting Stamford for a weekend and ate in a range of restaurants and, while all were mostly very nice, The Slanted Door was easily our favourite. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and they made a real effort to have a real chat with us. This definitely helped with the lovely cocktails! A great place for fab cocktails - this week had the Sunday lunch which was delicious and the starters were great too. Definitely recommend a visit
