Our waitress, Hannah, was excellent - listening carefully and explaining what the alternatives were for our friend and more generally provided excellent service throughout. \n\nThere is a good range of great tasting food, well prepared and presented, at reasonable prices. The set menu at lunchtime is also really good value given the quality of the food. What more could you want?

The service is always fantastic and the food is what we pay for.\nThis week we came on the Thursday due to early week appointments and I had to question if there had been a change of supplier as our food was absolutely delicious. My wife had her usual Chicken flatbread, still freshly fried and my Rump steak was cooked perfectly medium and came to me on a sizzling skillet.\nA big thanks to John and Kev in the kitchen, and the usual lovely service from the girls on front (with Dina serving our drinks and bringing our food).\nKeep up the good work, it's already a lovely pub.

The Jug & Bottle
15 Mount Ave, Heswall, WirralThe Jug & Bootle is located very conveniently near the centre of Heswall and is a traditional pub/hotel which is very popular, and rightly so. Offering bar service and food with a varied menu cooked in house to a high standard. There is a dining area with full waitress service. In Good seating Inthe bar area and a wide selection of beers and spirits always available. A very warm and sociably friendly pub/hotel, managed and maintained to a high standard. Guest rooms are available upstairs, very comfortable beds and breakfasts/evening meals served downstairs. One of the best pubs in the area. Usually open at midday until 11:00pm but it's best to check the Jug & Bottle's website - table and room bookings can be completed online. Highly recommended .

Devon Doorway Birkenhead
2 Telegraph Rd, Heswall, WirralWe had an after Funeral meal here 10 of us and the food was hot and the service was on time and we didn’t feel rushed. Eloise and her staff were very friendly and what stood out about them was they they were really particular about anyone with allergies - in fact you couldn’t say they were over cautious as it’s so important to get peoples order right if they have intolerance to certain types of food. We would definitely go again and booking was really easy too over the phone - average cost per head was £38 including a drink each for starter and a main. Atmosphere was lovely and the toilets were clean. Lots to choose from off the menu and the food came out piping hot. Well done Devondoorway and well done Eloise.

52 Pensby Rd, Heswall, WirralStaff are so friendly and welcoming with some brilliant banter amongst them and their customers.\nThe food they offer they give you some really good advice and guidance on what to order and make sure that you enjoy your meal. \nOur friends were uncertain on which curry to order and the waiter gave additional attention to what they wanted and sorted their taste. \nWould definitely recommend and we will definitely revisit would advise booking and it’s only a small restaurant so don’t arrive early as we did but nipped to the bar just down from the restaurant.

So helpful and friendly and really good with young children. Cannot rate it any higher than 5 stars across the board unfortunately. Excellent venue.

The staff were very friendly and professional, while dealing with a technical issue and a slightly demanding customer (not me) I was still served with the upmost professionalism. Outstanding service, the best I've seen in a post office for literally decides.

Heswall Kebab House
186 Telegraph Rd, Heswall, WirralExcellent kofte wrap. Sadly there was a drunk a-hole customer who came in whilst we were there, but the staff basically ignored his behaviour. It's a shame that customers like that make the stories of the UK that they will take back to Turkey. Be kind, these guys work hard and do a great job!

We were understandably told that the pizzas would be ready within a 30 minute window but in fact they called me bang on the time we asked for. Piping hot and every last slice was eaten.

As usual perfection got my usual calzone with chicken, pepperoni and done meat. Absolute beast of a meal! Ive waited months to come back here had a huge op. But honestly pensby kebab is worth the travel for me im from neston and would choose this place day and night and the staff are ultra friendly and actually remember you =) honestly they even remembered me mentioning my op. Anyways if your after great food and great prices pensby kebab is the choice for sure! Got my dad a doner and chicken kebab and hes already said he'd go back to pensby over are usual local.
10/10 pensby kebab! ?
