A busy Wednesday and only 1 member of staff serving, so we had to wait, but the 4 stars is down to this, not that the waitress didn't give good service.

Mayflower Chinese Takeaway
9 Claughton Firs, Oxton, Birkenhead, PrentonNancy is super lovely, we moved to Wales three years ago and still love coming back to Wirral just to have a takeaway from the Mayflower! It’s a real treat, always fresh and delicious food and the biggest credit is to Nancy, she literally works non-stop but remembers everything about you! She even remembers that my favourite dish is prawn toast even though she probably has hundreds customers every day! ❤️ Nancy can you please consider opening a restaurant in Wales too? Saves us driving to the Wirral ?

It's a bustling place, but we managed to get a table.We only stayed for 1 round as there were a group of blokes at the end of the bar that were being really noisy.Such a shame as I'd have liked to have gone through the beer menu but we couldn't hear each other speak (from across our table) due the hideous noise coming from the opposite end of the pub.

10 Bidston Rd, Birkenhead, PrentonI brought my mum for her birthday lunch and I was blown away the staff had catered for my mum who has dementia made sure our table was close to the toilets even decorated her table with happy birthday placemats it was a lovely touch.the food was lovely and lots of choice the staff were amazing went above and beyond to make my mum's day extra special i cant thank them enough will most definitely be back.thank you so much to everyone who was working today it meant so much to me and my family!

The cake selection is amazing. This place should be top of your list when in Oxton, Birkenhead or anywhere on the Wirral.

Service was great and quick. Food arrived in good time and was really tasty. Cocktails and corona on tap. Will definitely be back.

Highly recommend the chicken jalfrezi if you like hot spicy or chicken tikka bhuna if you prefer tasty but not spicy. Their peshwari naan is perfect, best I’ve ever had - crispy outside fluffy inside not greasy or soggy and full of sweet tastyness. Very fast and friendly service too. This place has vastly improved since last year. Lovely ?

15 Rose Mount, Oxton, Birkenhead, PrentonFirst time ever going to this chip shop I've only wanted to try it because its always busy when family have gone past anyway finally tried it out and got mixed noodles and beansprouts and small chips tonight being totally honest I wasn't fussed on the chips as they were just warm and really mushy not liked by me but the mixed tub of noodles and the beansprouts with the onion mixed together was very very nice and I would happily get them again they wasn't just really nice but the amount you get for only 3 pounds is value for money and quantity is more than enough to share with others not everyone will enjoy the same foods and I was a bit put off by the bad reviews off others but I tried some of the stuff I like and it was hit and miss wouldn't get the chips again but the noodles and beansprouts are a definite what am trying to say is try it out for ur self and don't let the reviews of other people put u off like me you may like items that others don't everyone is different and everyone cooks food different as other takeaways hope you try it out and enjoy it
