Homebrew Tap Oxton
58 Christchurch Rd, Oxton, Birkenhead, PrentonLovely little craft beer room, great selection with lots of variety. Not too expensive for what it is, and has a lager option on tap at a more affordable price if you did want to stay for a session! Tried a couple of beers and all were lovely, and bar staff sound too. Also, lots of DOGS! very cute, worth a look!

Food fantastic as is the selection of drinks. Amazing cocktails as well!
Live music Friday and Saturday as well always really good.
The staff are simply just amazing! service second to none.
A great team always have a smile on their face and happy to help. A credit to the owner and the bar.

10 Bidston Rd, Birkenhead, PrentonDecent greene king lovely beer garden which is in the sun. Food was lovely especially Signature burger.
Cranbury juice was so watered down.
Guy at bar forgot our drinks after half an hour had to go in to remind him lol.

1 Storeton Rd, Oxton, Birkenhead, PrentonI really like here so went on last bank holiday in May. Huge portion sizes,great prices and tasty food. Went again the following week for the quiz and was disappointed to see they'd changed the menu and added a couple of pounds on per meal and removed accompaniments such as onion rings from meal although they were still on menu as a side you could pay for. Not impressed so will eat at home before quiz next time.

Chaplin's Oriental Chinese Takeway
22 Grange Mount, Birkenhead, PrentonAmazing as usual, love the Chinese BBQ ribs in sauce & nice to see salt & pepper chips without chillis. More expensive than other places but it's honestly worth it for the quality & consistency. Didn't take pics but meat spring rolls & starter selection were also great. Love the homemade sweet & sour sauce, too. Overall the best Chinese around the north Wirral. I live in Moreton & the delivery was prompt, everything was hot & they even gave us a reusable insulated bag that everything was in instead of normal paper & plastic. Recommended to everyone, visiting or living here - especially the half peking duck.
Spent £14 a head for dinner for 4 people, but it is restaurant quality.

15 Rose Mount, Oxton, Birkenhead, PrentonFirst time ever going to this chip shop I've only wanted to try it because its always busy when family have gone past anyway finally tried it out and got mixed noodles and beansprouts and small chips tonight being totally honest I wasn't fussed on the chips as they were just warm and really mushy not liked by me but the mixed tub of noodles and the beansprouts with the onion mixed together was very very nice and I would happily get them again they wasn't just really nice but the amount you get for only 3 pounds is value for money and quantity is more than enough to share with others not everyone will enjoy the same foods and I was a bit put off by the bad reviews off others but I tried some of the stuff I like and it was hit and miss wouldn't get the chips again but the noodles and beansprouts are a definite what am trying to say is try it out for ur self and don't let the reviews of other people put u off like me you may like items that others don't everyone is different and everyone cooks food different as other takeaways hope you try it out and enjoy it

24 Wellington Rd, Birkenhead, PrentonMy new favourite take away again. I think they’ve changed owners. The food is worth a try. I think the meal for one is incredible value with lots of choice.
Delivery came promptly too, therefore I would highly recommend this establishment. There is a minimum spend and delivery fee just to be aware of.
