After seeing The Yellow Submarine we crossed over the road to the rather inviting-looking chippy. We ordered our food & we were about to leave with it when the very nice lady behind the counter asked if we’d like to sit & eat it at a small table instead of going in the park. We were delighted. Simple menu, making it easy to pick standard English and Chinese food at a very reasonable price. Beautifully freshly cooked. Lovely lady. Incredibly good prices! That, with history thrown in too from the Beatles Song. It's boss!!!

Great bar, great service. We only had drinks but the entire staff, including the owner, interacted with us. We were looking for another Beatles landmark and the entire staff tried to help and enlisted other patrons. Great place, great staff, great service.
