This is my go-to venue whenever I’m in the Allerton region meeting friends, getting hangry whilst shopping or simply need a little pick-me-up. The interior is gorgeously designed - simple and Scandi inspired. An instant helping of hygge as soon as you walk in. My friend and I tried this place for lunch after a walk through Sefton Park and Penny Lane. Even passing by, you could smell tasty food! They make and sell their own pickles, ferments and soda bread. We both had eggs on soda bread, and shared some pickles and ferments and a side of the mushrooms. The staff paid attention to little extra details (e.g., butter on the side rather than already on the soda bread, eggs on the side etc). Foods always stunning. Although portions are getting slowly smaller. Everything is home made and beautiful. Handed my Cv once and staff next day when I was dining never had a clue the cv they were laughing at was mine.
