We dropped in over Christmas as we had a dog with us and it was advertised as dog friendly. Although we found it a bit out of the way and not the easiest to find, once we got there it was well worth it! The pub is in an old police station and the interior has retained a lot of the features. The choice of drinks is superb and the beers well kept! This is without doubt the best place in Liverpool! Everything about the Bridewell is perfect. The staff are friendly and attentive, the venue is clean and tidy, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We come here every time we are in Liverpool. It’s just fabulous!

Me and my partner absolutely love it here. Great selection of drinks in a very unique building. We've been here a few times now and we've found that even when they're very busy, the staff are fantastic. There's few if any pubs in the city you will get the level of service they give.
