Good pub, since the refurbishment last year & putting the bar on the wall, big improvement. Bar staff were lively, quick to serve & happy. Atmosphere was excellent, had sports on tv with music booming. Recommended
We were staying on Chepstow Rd prior to watching the Mighty Shrewsbury Town at Anfield. We went to our adopted local and it was ace: good beer, great service and friendly locals. Recommended ??.

Revamped inside, bar moved totally, and it's a nice improvement. Good atmosphere inside pub, good choice of beers too. Plenty of seating room, seems bigger since revamp, and lots of TV's to watch sports. Recommended, and part of my post match County Rd walkabout!
