Best described as a traditional pub with friendly and efficient staff and superbly kept real ale. I went with family (all adults) last night for a few pre-dinner beers and obviously it's not the first time we've been and certainly be the last!
I went in early on Saturday afternoon and was served by a lovely barmaid, who poured an exceptional pint. So much so I had several. I had only stopped in for one and was encouraged to stay by the welcoming atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a pub and its exceptional staff. I’ll be back again in a Saturday afternoon!!
