lovely pub on renshaw st.not the cheapest in town,£4.80 for the guest beers,nice pints of white rat and never a frown.£5.20 for what looked like a good pint of Murphys.Bar has a few bits of the old ljmu Pharmacy inside it.lovely staff
No too sure what's happened to The Dispensary, has it changed hands?? Called in on Friday late afternoon and the place was empty. Beer selection is still good, can honestly say this place used to my favourite haunt when visiting Liverpool. The whole area is changing to be fair, so proper boxers are being squeezed out, I hope it's not the case here.Nevertheless I would highly recommend a visit.

I called in The Dispensary because I was randomly looking for somewhere to have a decent pint in Liverpool City Centre. As soon as I saw Titanic Plum Porter on draught, I knew this was going to be a decent pub (the pub opposite had no ales on draught at all, only lager).A live act was getting set up to perform just as we were leaving, which unfortunately we had to miss, but I can definitely say that we'll be back.
